What is Midnight Launch?

Meta Ads

In plain English: Schedule campaigns to start at 12:00am ad-account time so Meta spreads the budget over a full day instead of dumping it in the evening.

The practice of scheduling new ad campaigns to start at midnight (local or target timezone) so that Meta's algorithm has a full 24-hour data cycle on day one. Campaigns launched mid-day have their first day's data truncated, making day-1 performance less representative and day-2 comparison harder.

Why it matters: Launching at midnight gives you clean, comparable daily data from day one. It also means your budget doesn't get partially spent in the afternoon learning phase, the entire first day's budget is used in a complete delivery cycle.
